Taoyuan Municipal Shou Shan Senior High School

Founded in 2009, Shou Shan Senior High School, located in Guishan Dist., Taoyuan City, Taiwan, is a public high school comprised of general classes, Japanese Experimental class, Bilingual Experimental class ,physical education specialty class and the Vocational Division including Advertisement Design , International Trade, and Applied English. Currently, our school enrolls students from 10th to 12th grades with 18 classes per grade totaling 54 classes plus one class specially arranged for learners with special needs. Out of these 18 classes, seven are ordinary classes , one Japanese Experimental class (founded in 2017), two bilingual experimental classes (founded in 2021), two physical education specialty classes and six classes of vocational high school division. Each vocational department has two classes of learners per grade. The 54 classes contained in 2021 a student number of 1845.

The school has well- equipped facilities and conducive learning surroundings. Our students are encouraged to develop their multiple talents and devote themselves to further study for the universities. Academically, through multiple entrance programs and strengthening on studies, students in Shou Shan are mostly able to attend highly-acclaimed universities and college after graduation; apart from academic performance, the Vocational High School Division also emphasizes on professional skills as well. In addition, Shou Shan senior high school also places a great emphasis on building students’ characters, with a focus on education in democracy and individual development, paving the way for students’ citizenship. To achieve these youngsters’ holistic development, Shou Shan senior high school in all respects provides students with both harmonious learning atmosphere and favorable environment.
